What we ate #5

Ok, so I am not really cooking too much lately, but I did put something tasty together last night. All day long I was craving shrimp cocktail. I don’t know what that is about and no, I’m not pregnant (give me a little time please).

Anyway, when I got home last night I busted out the frozen shrimp and defrosted several of them. Then, I took a couple of big leaves of romaine lettuce and put them in two big wine glasses. Finally, I dumped some store bought cocktail sauce (I told you, not much cooking or concocting of my own going on) into the glasses and lined the glass rims with the shrimp. Cute, easy and delicious.

Christopher ate everything in about 2 minutes. Hmm, maybe he’s pregnant…

These are adorable! Don’t you love it when food looks as good as it tastes?

This looks like a perfect recipe to make for my husband…I myself don’t eat seafood but the huz loves it and is always bummed that I don’t make if for him. But this looks so easy that even someone who has no idea how to cook shrimp can do it! Thanks for sharing it ;)

LOL you’re funny. It’s always nice to take a break from all of the wedding mumbo-jumbo and relish in some good ol’ fashioned humor.
