I don’t know what has come over me, but I got some motivation and decided to get some stuff done tonight. I really want to have a dedicated studio space to paint, draw, sew and work on crafts and I also want an office that isn’t a mess with all my supplies. Some place that Christopher can actually keep some of his things, work on the computer and not feel like he is going to be stabbed by some random sewing needle or get his hand stuck in a glob of glue.
Alright, so I started step one of project Divide and Conquer and started to rearrange the upstairs office. I didn’t get as far as I would like, but I realize it is getting late and I slept very poorly last night. I did get enough done that I thought I would share a couple of pictures with you all.
I moved the desk away from the window and decided to hang some frames on the chalkboard wall in order to keep it looking a bit more organized (I plan on putting one more up on the left side).
One of my vintage lamps that I got for a wedding present and some office supplies.
My new “calendar”.
I need to get ready for bed now. I am so tired and I want to get up early and work on things.

Jessica I love, love, love your chalkboard wall! How clever to hang some frames to create little chalkboards within a chalkboard! Your desk lamps are fab, too. Great job.
